Document notarization is essential to the transferal of real property and validating legal documents. If you are buying or selling property, a home, land, car, or boat, you’ll become acquainted with document notarization. If you are executing a Will, Power of Attorney, or Registering an Out-of-State vehicle, just to name a few, document notarization will be an important aspect of the process.

Why do I need Notary?

The signing of most legal documents requires that a Notary be present to confirm:

  • All Signer’s identities are verified.
  • Signers understand the documents they are signing.
  • Signers are entering into a transaction of their own free will, and not being coerced.

What is a Notary Public?

Notaries derive their authority from their state governments. They are “appointed” or “commissioned” by a top official of their state, generally the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State or Treasurer. Each state has its own unique notary laws and notaries must follow the laws of their particular state. This means that notaries in one state may have authority to perform duties that notaries in another do not—it depends completely on each state’s notary laws. There is no corresponding or overriding federal law governing notaries.

Apostille Services

We specialize in providing Apostille certification services to authenticate the seals and signatures on documents being used abroad. An Apostille certification ensures that your document is recognized as valid in countries that are members of the Hague Apostille Convention.

Understanding Apostille Certification
An Apostille is a form of authentication issued to documents for use in countries that participate in the Hague Convention of 1961. If you are conducting business, studying, residing, or getting married in a foreign country, an Apostille certifies the authenticity of your documents.

Our Apostille Services Include:
Personal Documents: Birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, divorce decrees, and adoption papers.
Educational Documents: Diplomas, transcripts, and letters related to educational achievements.
Business Documents: Articles of incorporation, bylaws, patents, and documents related to foreign investments or business operations.
Legal Documents: Powers of attorney, affidavits, court orders, and other legal papers.
Notarized Documents: Any document that has been notarized can be further authenticated with an Apostille certification.

Our Process:
We streamline the Apostille process to ensure your documents are processed swiftly and accurately. Here’s how we do it:
Verification: We begin by verifying that your documents are eligible for Apostille certification.
Notarization: If required, we provide notarization services to certify the signatures on your documents.
Certification: We then obtain the Apostille certification from the appropriate authority, ensuring that it meets all the requirements of the destination country.
Guidance and Support: Our team provides expert guidance throughout the process, answering any questions you might have and ensuring you understand each step.
